Cluster problems. Help please.

My dash is acting up on me. I turn my car off at night and every morning the trip odometer resets to zero. The date also defaults to 12:00p.m. 7/01/98. Is there any remedy for this problem other than dumping $1,200 for a new dash?

Rebuilt clusters (part # ends in "X") are cheaper.

you sure it's the cluster? might be as simple as the battery going.

Like Jeff said, it could well be the battery. Check that 1st. How old is the battery?

that's what it sounds like...battery going.

my 2001 225QC is acting up as well. I'm looking to change out my battery very soon....need to slot in some time to do it in the next week.

I just got TTschwing's mainTTainer in...so I'm ready!
