Coilover installation problems HELP
We're running into a weird *** problem though...trying to get the bolt at the top of the coilover assembly (the part in the engine bay) tightened...but the problem is, turning the bolt turns the entire surrounding metal ring, so it doesn't tighten. the only way to keep this from happening is to hold the silver part in the wheel well, but there's no way to hold it tight enough to keep it from turning.
sorry, i'm doing a crappy job describing the problem, but hopefully someone knows what i'm talking about. basically, we can't tighten the bolt up top without turning the whole metal part of the strut (no idea what it's called).
long shot...hopefully someone can chime in.
Surprised though, you knew exactly what I was talking about. =P
Any other ideas people? I think we need to get creative on this badboy.
