Confessions from a guilty conscience...
It was the first time I'd seen a stock TT in that sort of up-close and personal vantage in a decent amount of time. And it was a bit bizarre because it was identical to mine in stock form...
It was a bit strange to me, especially having not seen my car in months, that it once looked identical to that car. I imagine it's not unlike being a parent and looking back at baby pictures (granted, I would assume that there'd be a great deal more emotion in the parent/child relationship, but you get the idea...).
I also realized that I've only had my car for a total of 3 months out of the last year, and even several weeks of that went by with the car in the shop.
When I bought the TT, I'd intended to keep it stock. Seriously. I was trying to get away from tweaking cars. Obviously, it didn't work out as intended, but I'm pretty happy with the results.
So, here's how it all went down:

I could bore you with more, but I won't...
What an interesting journey it's been.
Thanks to everyone for your patience, your help, and for dealing with me for so many mods and so many years.
