crossfire roadster
Albeit flattering but it is annoying that see these car manufacturers have no sense of originality.
No car since the TT has stricken me by it looks, except for a few exotic cars and some classics.
I, for one, am happy to see the negative reaction.
It tells me that people here want innovation not conformity or duplication that is aimed to be an improvement upon a great idea or concept.
I feel that they (Z, G35c, SC430 and all other TTesque cars)are all failures from a design perspective because it looks like something else.
That something else happens to be our cars. I find it offensive.
Now take the Lotus elise....not my cup of tea but it is very unique and in its own class. I have seen nothing on the road that looks anything like it. Maybe a few features from classic cars but no direct rip-off FWIW.

but it's using a platform as old as the TT's, it's underpowered, the interior quality is really quite poor. It's not just that anything other than a TT is crap, it really isn't that interesting of a car when you look at the alternatives. The RX8 will outperform it and it's a pretty slick packaging exercise. The 350Z will certainly outperform it. The Crossfire is an overstyled, second-hand SLK. It's kind of telling that its the only new car that the TT beats in comparisons.
I feel very safe with my quattro, I know when I hit the gas the car doesn't hesitate even is snow.
