darn it - got a flat
not sure how it happened... and i was going to go out tonight 
Where should I take the wheel? Do I have to take it to an Audi garage? Is it covered by warranty or scheduled maintenance? If not, how much should I expect to pay for a flat tire?
And I can't even leave work early to get this taken care of - first time in weeks that I've had a really busy day

I doubt it would be covered by the tire company warranty, let alone Audi
Take it to any reputable tire installer. Make sure you inspect the rim before and after with the tech to make sure they didn't damage it if they need to remove it from the rim. Check it over even if they only plug it too. These rims get damaged when dropped on their outer face.
PS. Try not to use the mini jack in the trunk. Use a floor jack if possible and don't forget to remove the lug nut plastic caps. There is a plastic (mini salad tong looking)tool in the spare tire area.
Insist on stick on weights if the wheel needs rebalancing.

The number should be on a business card that you got with your car.
My dealer placed mine in the owner's manual binder thing. The card will have the number for roadside assistance and your VIN on it. All you'll need when you call them is your VIN, and they'll send out someone to help you...Warning: It takes a long time for them to actually come out.
