Dashboard button??

Hi all,

I've got a button on my dashboard, no clue what it does. Somebody that's familiar with this?

When I press the black dot on the button, a red light flashes a few times.

I've never seen or heard of that button on a TT. I'd guess it is something a previous owner installed. Do you have the manual for the car?

Definitely something aftermarket that was installed by a previous owner. If possible follow the wiring from the switch.

It could be used to activate a tune. Some tunes can be activated by switches. Not saying that’s it but could be possible. The previous owner may have even had some sort of lights on the car that was activated by that.
