dead battery
I just got back from a 2 week vacation and now my car won't start. When I unlocked it this morning, all the lights inside were dim so naturally, I tried to jumpstart it. The lights inside are fully illuminated now but when I turn the key all I hear are a series of clicks. Is my battery totally wasted or is it something else? Thanks!

It didn't die "just like that", it's been going since day 1. After a time, it fails to accept a...
charge.
how old is it?
Please don't say "its' the original".
if so, you got 3 more years use out of it than normal.

More battery tips...
-Don't let Sears install the battery. They busted up our battery box.
-Batteries hate extreme heat and cold. If you live in Phoenix, your battery will not last as long as a battery in San Francisco.
-When a lead/acid cell fails, the battery can't be recharged and may explode if you try. So don't try.
-Trickle charging might get you jump started...for your drive to Sears.
