delivery time in US

Hi,Anyone know the average wait time for a TT in the US? I left a downpayment (CT dealership) three weeks ago, and have been told to expect the car in August. Instinct is saying September might be more realistic... I'd be interested in hearing from someone who's already taken delivery. Thanks!

Which dealership in Connecticut?

I used Danbury Audi and got my TT a tiny bit earlier than promised.

Which model? Front wheels drives should be delievered on the promised date. Quattros might take a little longer, just because they aren't out yet.Ed

I ordered at Pray Audi in Greenwich. So far I've found them very friendly and pleasant to deal with. Rumor also has it their service dept. is outstanding....I ordered a front wheel drive in denim blue. All options except the cell phone. (I'm told that colors and options impact delivery time)... ..joe

I work directly around the corner from Pray and understand they are good. I just had a bad experience with a snotty salesman treating me like an idiot because I was a woman. That was a few years ago and he's probably gone, but I won't go back out of principle. Joe Miller at Danbury Audi is perhaps the most professional and pleasant dealership person I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Good luck, you are going to have a blast. My guess is the dealer is probably right on. You should be able to find out when the car goes into production and then it will be easier. I'm out here in AZ and every Audi dealer here is saying February 2000! I guess there is a difference based on the dealer allocation and how many orders have been placed.

Joe - You may want to try Hoffman in Hartford. Their ad in last sunday's Hartford Courant indicated that they had 4 cars in stock. I got my silver / black through Tom Sharpe. Tom was more than pleasant to deal with, I'm sure he'd be glad to help you. 860-290-6130Vic
