Differences between a year 2000 and 2002 TT?
Did Audi make any significant changes in the TT between 2000 and 2002 (quattro 180 hp model)? I test-drove a 2002 TT at the dealership the other day and was really impressed and am looking to buy one used to save a few bucks. Am I going to be shocked to find the 2000 model lacking features now in the 2002 model? One thing I noticed is that the 2000 models have only a 3 year warranty...as compared to 4 years with the latest.

Marcus! How much did it cost you to have your antenna welded shut and painted? I'm going
to take my car in to have a nut-imposed ding removed, and was thinking of having that done at the same time, but I'd like to have a reference cost in mind before I visit the body shop. TIA

Yes, but not a terrible amount...
CD player is in-dash w/a 6 CD Changer (Premium Audio package)
Without the package, it's just a Cd player. Nice.
In 2002, 5 spoke alloys are now a $500 option. in 2000 they were part of the Premium package. now they are not. (not sure if 180hp and 225hp or just on 225hp.)
Homelink system in 2002. (programamble buttons for garage doors) not worth it in my opinion.

But when I went to pay for all the work done they gave me the antenna removal Gratis, But $100 was what they quoted me.
If having the work done at the same time as fixing ding's it should be too costly due to the fact they already have the paint and only have to remove the antenna and weld the hole shut.
