Because of the buckets of money I have spent over the past years, they are "giving" me a free HD DVR with 2 year commitment.
This is the new MPEG4 unit.

I got a free HR10-250 and a non-hd DVR for the bedroom about six months ago for being a good customer. Then just 2 weeks ago the HR10-250 crapped out and I got a free replacement and I asked them about the next generation units and they said "not yet". Looks like I may have just missed it. I'm sure I'll have to wait till the end of the 2 year commitment now.

We just dropped them this spring. Finally all the freebies wore off, and I realized
they suck. Which, actually, is largely due to the fact that they aren't supporting Tivo going forward. That and the fact their customer service sucks.
