I know it's all a matter of what appeals to the eye, but I saw the baseball stitch at the L.A. auto show, and didn't care for it. The color was sort of a baby poop amber, the stitching almost orange, and appeared to be about a quarter inch thick. My wife is of the opinion that it could snag clothing. It certainly, IMHO, detracted from the clean lines of the car and it's clean, clean interior.I gues I'm just advising that if you haven't seen it in person, look before you leap.
