Door latch problems

Door latch problems
My passenger window makes some noise going up and down and no longer drops down the 1/4" when door opens. Dealer says its the "door latch" causing the problem. Has anyone had similar problems. Car is just out of warranty and this could be costly. Thanks

we had a lot of problems with the drivers side door..was re-aligned countless times.....
until they got it right. The window would either leak, or whistle sooooo bad...not latch right, etc. Took them 5 days straight to figure it out. I am not sure this is your problem, but does not sound out of the ordinary to me
