Driver side window problems
Thanks for any help you guys can give.
*********************
Here it is:
Close the window completely by lifting the power window switch and holding.
Release the switch and then lift it again for a second.
The convenience feature is now activated.

If that fails, see if the TSB below applies to your car and take it to the dealer ;-D

TSB: C 64-02-01
Subject: Power Windows, Reverse Direction During Closing or Automatic Lowering is Inoperative
Group: 64
Model(s): TT Coupe, Roadster 2000 > 2002
Number: 02-01
Date: April 3, 2002
Condition
Power door window(s) reverse direction by themseles, during closing due to mechanical resistance.
Automatic lowering of power door window inoperative during entering or exiting vehicle (all vehicles) or when lowering and/or raising power folding top (Roadster only).
May be caused by:
1. For all TT models, the window motor must learn the basic setting.
Learning (activating) the Basic setting is performed during vehicle production. For various reasons this adjustment becomes skewed and loses its memory, including not being activated in production.
2. For TT Coupes (only) between VIN: 8N11046716 and 8N11048543, the Basic setting was not learned (activated) during production.
