Default Fault Codes/help
My 2001 TT has had cold start issues since I bought it 18 months ago. 2 Audi dealers have been no help. I've replaced the temp sensor with a green top and also replaced the battery. It is still running really rough when cold and I'm getting a CEL frequently. I finally bought a cable and VAG-Check for my IPAQ and here are the fault codes I'm getting:

16684 - Random Misfire Detected - Any Cylinder B 35-00

16885 - Cylinder #1 - Misfire Detected A or B / Blink 35-00

Allegedly, this Audi has had the coil pack recall. Currently I'm at 62k miles.

Any help would be appreciated.

Well, coil packs aren't that expensive.....Give it a shot.

Change the plugs while your at it, they go fast in the boosted world...

I had the random misfire code several days ago, turned out to be coil packs.

Default I don't have that info handy.....
Maybe someone with better knowledge can answer. I'm not sure how a stock TT would run with those. I've got them on, but I'm fairly modded.
