Finally Got the Plate/Frame...

Your screws look like they are over the plate instead of under. (?)

You are right! My mistake...

I forgot when putting it on the car that the frame has a backing plate for the screws...will fix this weekend!

You didn't put this together properly . . .

I thought the plate is supposed to slide inside the frame, like a picture or something. I can see the entire edge of the plate!

Check the instructions or ask someone with one of these to tell you how to do.

optical illusion...

the plate is slid into the frame, the edge is hidden, it just looks in the photo as if you can see the edge. Where I screwed up (thanks 225TTR) is that I need not have put the screws through the plate, the screws go through the frame's backing plate,THEN I slide the plate in...
