Finding Ed...
<center><img src="http://home.san.rr.com/winefinds/ed.JPG"></center><p>Okay, I've unpacked the bags, and preparing for some well-needed rest. But before I crash, I wanted to repeat the Ed Burley story.
Ed Burley was one of the original TT forum members, and the creator of the Yahoo Audi Owners' Club on Yahoo, which is where we all do our Wednesday night chats. However, after being very active, Ed sort of disappeared. My theory is that he sought professional help, and was succesfully treated.
So Sat night, I'm walking in front of the Holiday Inn, when an unusually sober voice shouts, "Hey, Brad!" After asking who the inquirer was, I was shocked to see that it was Ed Burley.
Now here's where it gets really, really weird. Ed lives in Mich, and drove here for his buddy's wedding which was in Somerset. So he drove halfway accross the country for the ceremony, all the while having no clue that we were doing our first national TT meet at the same time.
I can't even imagine what the odds of this happening, but the TT gods said it, and it was done. So it was great seeing Ed, and the rest of you OCD types as well. Damn, I'm tired. Better go hit the hay, but before I do, here's one pic of yours truly, Jason aka Bracketracer, and Ed taken about a minute after Ed showed up.

Unbefreakin'lievable. Ed is a plant for AoA. He has to be. Look at the evidence...
-Early enthusiast here
-Sets up the owner's club on Yahoo and once it has it's own momentum, slips under the radar
-Checks in only when someone like Brad emails him asking if he has expired. Or worse, sold the TT.
- Magically appears at some randomly selected town for the "Largest Gathering of TT's in North America"(tm 2001 Peter Grabowsky)

Come on.. If I was a plant for Audi, the least they could have done was lend me one for the weekend while my TT was waiting for an oil change. (It's at the shop now, actually).
Of course, showing up in a Dodge pickup truck could just be part of my cover story...

..and here this TT ownere from michigan couldn't even be bothered to come :P
no $$, no time, no inclination to be around a bunch of folks that hate me
