Greetings, I purchased and 2000 TTQC nearly 2 years ago with 11,000. Car is perfect. Now, 17,450 miles. After following conversations in the TT forum in the last 6 months:
1. APR Chip-Standard and 93 Octane (Dealer is less than 3 miles away-convenient)
2. 710 DV
3. Milltek exhaust-resonance. Too quiet, but OK.
4. 3.2 Valance
5. Alpine CD
Question: Car built in 12/99 has k03 (not sport).
What do I get with a K04 (K04-01 I believe) turbo replacement of the K03? APR said the software will work fine the way it is set up now. Thanks..

First time I hear that software is the same for K03 and K04.
If you upgrade....expect a completely different car 
You're going from about 200hp on a chpped 180 to 250hp with tuned K04 and even more increase in torque.

Yep...I just hope they are not feeding him the bull of his 180 soft being compatible with K04.
I mean...it will probably run but it will not be optimized nor will it produce power that such an upgrade dictates.
Do you have any K04 upgrated 180's running your mods? All should still work right?

you should see some significant improvement with a KO4 >
AND apr gave me the 'upgrade' software for free - they do produce it, see it on their site, under VW ko4 upgrades - so yes, there must have been confusion on their part.
