First scratch is the deepest : (

Well it was bound to happen. Went by my car at lunch. Nice big scuff on hood that was not there 7hrs ago when I parked this a.m. Looks like someone dragged something across it. UGHhhhhhhhhh, and it's Monday. Any suggestions for removing scuffs?

I think i would throw up all over the ground after seeing that. Some people either have too much jealousy or too little consideration.
How about trying to compound it out or is it too deep?

Not deep, thankfully. I'm still at work and will probably break the

sound barrier tonight getting home. Yeah, people suck at times.

You can remove all scratchs....

Start with a polish. I like machine glaze by 3m but all companies make some...Just make sure it doesn't fill the scracth but removes it. If it is real deep - use a mild cleaner like fine cut meguires.

Can you feel it with your fingernail?

No, it seems to be a scuff on the clearcoat. Not deep but white on the virgin Desert green metallic

paint.........sigh.....

yeah, happened to me...looked like someone put something on top and picked it up by dragging it...

across the back hatch...i asked here before...someone recommended langka...i'm willing to give anything a try to smooth it out. in my case, it looks like the scratch is deep enough that you can see white primer. bummer.

some people have no sensitivity or brains.
