I am using it to select hotels that I will use as I cross the country. Make sure to check out the remote sites listed; not just the CA ones. In the high tech areas, you can take your WiFi into most *$ (Starbucks) for connectivity.

It's THAT simple? Would you mind recommending some specific products...I think I am interested in
doing this...Ever since I switched to a cable modem I've only been able to use my system in the home office....
Believe me, I don't miss AOL..but I miss being able to plug into the jacks all over my house....
