FMIC will increase or decrease the chances of collapsing intake hose?

somewhat loosely coupled...more than likely the issue is related to transient boost or peak boost...
...a spike in boost is more than 21 psi..etc...in fact it is driven by an impulse equation that for very short period of time an impulse wave of backpressure is followed by near perfect vacuum...this is the transient that starts the kink formation and it is held there with a less vacuum for 1-2 sec...but enough to warrant concern...some german tuners insist that hard pipe is the only way to go...so far i've tested with the cable tie method on the samco and the tagged weight has not fallen out...whereas with the stock intake it falls out ...now that could be becaus e of the ribs etc...this is well known more with viscous fuilds and pumps...but could be the cause...
