fun with data logging
<center><img src="http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p167/nmanchin/Kart/data.jpg"></center><p>while i'm not running data on my TT i've been trying to get good at jetting the carb on my shifter kart. had an auto-x this weekend with it and thought i'd post up a screen shot.
you can see what i'm graphing here. Engine speed, ground speed, water temp, and EGT.
I was running a little rich, peak EGT should be right at 1200 degrees. i'm a newb to two strokes and carbs for that matter. i yearn for OBD-II!
unfortunately my data acq system doesn't record g forces
but it does have sequential shift lights. wOOt!

Wow... it's an art setting those bastards up. Looks like you've got the basic skills to attack
it, and it will only be a while till you've got the feel of it. Up here it's all about barometric pressure, ambient temp, etc.... Basically a lot of factors that I'm WAY too stOOpid to figure out and tune for. If I'm *able* to kart again, it's gonna have to be a Rotax Max. Push the button and go! ;-)
