Glowshift Direct are crooks!

Got a call from them and they changed their minds. They refunded me for the defective gauge and I am updating this post to reflect this, as per their wishes.

I don't think anyone here has fitted one of those...>

and honestly it can't be rebuilt since you hacked it up so I can understand their position. Shoulda used one of my Vent ring adapters for a non-destructive install...Too late now.

esp when VDO gauges work bestestest and cost next to nothing.

The idea is that you pay now for a second one to be shipped immediately.

Then, when they receive the faulty unit, they credit you.

I do this routinely on mail order returns.

Otherwise, you have to wait for them to receive and process the faulty unit before shipping a replacement.
