Headlight Mod question...

Anyway, seeing a stock silver 2007 Quattro Sport in a Auto Magazine with the exact mod, put me over the edge! Interesting, assuming the test vehicle in the photo was stock, that Audi "adopted" to an aftermarket trend (the painted housing, not the clear corners which I realize are the norm in the UK)....
I've read the numerous "how to's" and they make sense...
I thought it may make sense to go ahead and install new headlight housings (not the bulb parts) to address the numerous scratches on the headlights (5+ years old) and take care of two issues at once.
Finally.... My question: Anyone have any sources for new headlight housings?
I've searched the forum and lots of folks have asked the question, but no answers... I could buy the HID versions but that's over $300 each on ebay...
