Hello...

I am looking to getting a TT but would like to hear about the performance aspects of the car. For instance, is it better to get a 180 or 225 to upgrade? I've heard that the 1.8 is a great engine to modify and that there is an extensive aftermarket selection. Since the 1.8 in the 225 has beefed-up internals, so would that be a better platform to start on since some work is already done? I'm not familiar with European cars, a little more with Japanese cars. Thanks.
