Just today, I bought a 2000 180TTQ with 5k miles. 2 things that bother me that I would like advice on: 1) The one-touch auto windows don't work (was that standard?); and 2) There is no cd-changer, but it has the sound system, xenon's, 17" wheels, etc. (was that standard?) Per the dealer, it was an audi-exec car. Also, any guidance on quality/reputable after-market dealers (specifically, winter floor mats) would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If the radio does not say Bose when you turn it on or the door speaker grills don't say Bose then you might not have a cd changer.
At that point it is a $600 dealer installed option. Better going aftermarket.
The one touch windows are standard. If they are not working have the service department fix them for you. Both windows are one touch up and down. You should also check to make sure the window pinch feature is working. Do this by getting a roll of paper towels and open the window then close the window on the paper towels. The window should reverse direction and then stop. Check both windows.
Make sure you have the first aid kit in the passenger rear arm rest compartment, the cd changer would go in the drivers rear arm rest.
Make sure you have all of the tools that should be in the car, also check for the safety triangle.
By the way, congrats on getting a great car

You can reset the window -->
Mine stopped as well. Page 71 in the Manual tells you how to reset:
Close the window completely by lifting the power window switch and holding.
Release the switch and then lift it again for a second.
The convenience feature is now activated.

The Xenons and 17" wheels were a premium package. Standard version has 16" wheels and no Xenon.
Enjoy your TT....

Thanks for the info. I'll give the windows a try. My 2000 180 TTQ is silver and I'm very excited to be a happy Audi owner. Not sure I got a great deal on the 2k, but regardless, I finally have my TT..... Maybe I'll even get a picture here. I've found several references to winter mats, but noone specifies which type they like. Does anyone prefer the rubber mats?
