HELP: Car is not turning on. Getting codes -->
I was making a left and the car was EXTREMELY slow....I pulled over, shut off the car. I tried turning on the car again and the ignition works but the car is not turning on. Here are the codes I am getting:
17748 - Camshaft Position Sensor (G40) / Engine Speed Sensor (G28): Incor. Correlation
P1340 - 35-00 - -
16726 - Camshaft Position Sensor (G40): Signal too Low
P0342 - 35-00 - -

Yes, engine is spinning but not starting when I turn the key -->>>>
I tried resetting the codes in vagcom and now all I get is:
16727 - Camshaft Position Sensor (G40): Signal too High
P0343 - 35-00 - -

Yes, it does sound like it is spinning just a little faster (sounds different)......My waterpump
went bad at around 49,000 and Audi replaced that along with tensioner and a few other parts, but no the belt itself. The car has 88,139 miles now. Is it possible for the problem to be timing belt related and yet enable me to drive from the left turn to a convenient stop?

Belt may have lost a few teeth...>>
Cam is out of sync enough to bend a few valves slightly but still operate under reduced power.
I'd not try anything else at this point until you get it diagnosed as damage may be light at this time..

Well....Sounds like the damage is done anyway...>>
It's much better when it fails this way. You'll still need to pull the head and replace the valves. Redo the TB stuff etc. When they fail suddenly at speed they often take out the head and pistons too..
