HELP HELP HELP!
Ok, here is my issue. My car has been at the body shop for god knows how long now. They told me that if they could get the windshield out that they could re use it. Now, today they call me back and tell me no way they can use the windshield, because they weather stripping has to be replaced. They also told me you can't get the weather stripping seperate. Is this true? Do I have to pay 300 for a new windshield??

Not sure if they mean #17, moulding frame, which _is_ included with the window glass (also available separately p/n 8N0 853 306), or the gasket, #s 8-9, total of about $560, definitely not included with the window.

Thank you, however the dealer sent me that too. Everyone is confused
on this one. They say that number 17 is something different. They are saying that the weather stripping is included on the windshield, and can't be purchased seperately

No sir - they have the glass there at the body shop, but the
old weather stripping is beat up pretty bad from the Florida Sun. I called Harmon Glass here in Florida and they said it's all one piece as well, and that I can't purchase the other rubber piece
Still hope that someone has dealt with this before and can fix it.
