I love this forum, but what do you guys think of this as a suggestion for enhancement?

I was over on the honda-acura.net forum and realized that they provide a mechanism for knowing how many posts people have posted and when they signed up. This might be interesting.

I thought the number of posts was cool. What about a number of reads? ;-)

I thought it was cool to know how long someone had been around and if they had posted before

Sort of a measurement of trust (not exactly but sort of).

Don't mind the membership date thing...

but doubt that it is a measure of trust. There are new posters here that speak more clearly, authoritatively than others who were here from day one. Nothing wrong with that, but not an indicator of trust.

Well, it could be a measure of trust if one gets flamed by a poster who "registered today" in order to flame....like we experienced rashes of newbies and other board folks hitting us a couple months back.

The other is too competitive - as we've already seen, perhaps.
