I need some TT advice.
I might be getting a TT in the near future. I was thinking about a 2000 TT Coupe 180hp Quattro. I love the clean look without the rear spoiler. My question is what kinda problems should I look for? Any advice would be great! Thank you in advance!

Stretch for the 225, you won't be sorry!!
Also if you can stretch for the 2001, you catch the 4 yr war and maint. A 2000 will most likely be out of warranty. The extra $$ you will spend on the 2001 will be a wash if you have to buy an extended for a 2000.
Good luck. Look on ebay for price points and comparasions. Where are you located?

Also, more HP off the bat and chipping will give you more...>
The down side...the MK2 suspension is a little more sluggist and I dont care for the spoiler either.

DEFINATELY hold out for a 225!
it's a beefier motor, 6spd tranny, better rear brakes, etc., etc.
it'll be too hard to even attempt getting an unspoilered mkI. you'll be looking for ever. just get suspension & chip on the 225 you find and you'll be in heaven
