I pulled the Trigger!!!!
I am now a TT owner...!! Woo Woo

After months of searching I found the perfect TT.
I pick it up on Monday and can't wait.
The car is in showroom condition and the mods are exactly what I would have done. My only concern is the mods voiding the warrenty but the car/price was worth the risk.
I'll be scouring this forum for info. Just wanted to share the news with anybody who cares... : )

Congrats ... quick comment though
The 300hp represenation in the owner's auction description seems high to me. The GIAC chip gets you to 260hp. You'll have to ask others on this forum if they think that the new intake and exhaust gives you another 40hp??
With the mods your car has, the previous owner probably was on this forum so you might be able to contact him for more info.

I also think 300 is a little optimistic, but I did drive the 180 and it felt outright anemic compared to this one. I'm thinking maybe its getting 280 tops, I may look around and see where I can get it dyno'd in my area.
As far as the coil over suspension, it handles like a dream, not too stiff, just right, corners like it glued down to the road, but you guys know that allready.

Thanks for the link. This sounds exactly like what the previous owner did. Not sure if its getting 293hp or not, but I do know the car moves.
The intake breather does make a very distint woosh noise during accelleration, that may become anoying. I may give up the 10 or so HP and remove it if it gets to be too much.
I never even turned on the radio during the test drive, I was so amazed at the way the car drove.
