KW's installed!
Many have reported poor results in the rear lowering. With the upper perch set all the way low, I got 1.5 inches lower. KW has changed the rear spring recently to one that is 1 cm shorter. There's a lot of details if anyone is interested...
The front installation was easy if you follow the Bentley and take the halfshaft off at the transmission. No sawz-all needed ;-). The KWs are shorter than the original so one only has to do this to get the OEM struts out. I used new bushings and bearings, so I didn't have to compress the strut springs.
I swapped the longer OEM rear link to the upper position and put the CPP's in the lower position. This may help achieve a better balance of toe and camber in the rear.
Anyone with the CPP lowers and headlight adjusters have a good solution to clamp the sensor on the link?
Now it's off to get an alignment. The camber is clearly way off.
This is the last thing to get done before TT-West. See a number of you there!
The stock suspension is really horrible.
I appreciate the difference this mod offered.
Do you have a link on the shorter rear springs?
Please e-mail me any info you have or provide a link. TIA.

The wire diameter is speced differently too. 1011 is 14.6mm while the 8012 is 13.8mm. If the steel used is the same, the 8012 would have a lower pring rate but both are speced at 900 kg load.
Through a mis-shipment, I received the kit for the 3.2 which had the 8012 rear spring when I was expecting the 1011. The new kit arrived with the same rear spring (8012). The spec for the 1.8 was changed Nov 23, 2005. The previous TuV spec (for the 1011) was from Sep 29, 2005.
My original rear spring had two silver dots and the 1J0 512 149 G upper packing, no spacer on the bottom. When the suspension is hanging at the end of the shock, the spring can be rotated by hand.
