Lights-locks problem

Lights-locks problem
I'm getting my first service Monday on my TT-- and I want them to check out that lights-locks problem (which I have). I can find one article about it on auditt.org-- but I seem to remember seeing more details about the problem somewhere else... can someone direct me??

My problem is the one...
...where if you hit the lock button before you start the car, the interior lights don't work and you can't unlock the doors with the button.
At least that's the problem I KNOW of-- what's the other problem???

that's the original problem...audi dealers originally refused to admit it existed...
and doesn't that sound familier!
anyway, i had my tech sit in the driver's seat and had him replicate the problem...then we went to a new tt and we reproduced it again!

Reminder - it's fixed by adding a ground to the central locking system...
There is a fix on the Audi Tech Line for it.
If they refuse to acknowledge it, reproduce the problem for the tech - that usually works...
