Looking for a writeup for vacuum issues
Hi all,
I have an 01 TT 6pd with an AMU Engine. Under the intake manifold is a series pf vacuum lines that are bad. Link to the part. I have read in several threads of people taking this out and replacing it with a can or something. I just don't want to spend $120 on vacuum lines. What I have not been able to find is a good description of how this procedure is done. So I guess i have basically two questions.
1) Is there a writeup somewhere that shows how to properly remove this part and re-route everything.
2) I am located in California. Has anyone in Cali done this? Is there any issues with passing the smog test as a result?
