Default maf replacement
just got my new maf in the mail. do i need to do anything like disconnecting the battery or what after i replace it? or should i just clear the code i was getting before/after the swap?

Default Well you should...>>
disconnect the battery as that will Zero out the Compensated fuel maps that caused the CEL... Otherwise thery'll just come back in line over the next 30 miles or so..

Default Nope....Didn't on my car..>>
The Fuel maps are stored in an Eprom and only powering down will broom em...

Some claim a Vag re-set will do it, but not in my experience..
