Default Magnetic front plate - QUESTION??

I understand the process outlined here:

Magnetic Front Plate

and I have the site to get the #08 and #12 magnets:

Magnet Site

BUT, which exact magnets are the ones to use.. I searched and looked up and down the site for something that says #08 and #12 but didnt find anything...

Can someone please point out the correct magnets to use, or reccommended magnets to use. Thanks a lot

-Mark

Default Since I did this about three years ago now . . .

. . . looks like they've changed their item coding. On the disc magnet page they're the 25.0mm discs. I used one set on the inside of the plate valence cover and doubled the set on the OEM plate mount - it has recessed pockets that the magnets fit in just right. The 25.0mmX6.0mm on the plate (can be doubled) and 25.0mmX3.0mm on the valence. Looks like they've added epoxy coated magnets and those would be a better bet than coating nickel ones yourself, but they're in a different dim but could still work.

Gaussboys

Default Thanks, these magnets are freakin strong... I cant seem to find >>

a plastic mounting bracket like the one in the picture, nor a stainless steal frame in any stores.

Ive been to a few car part stores and walmart, meijers, target all those places..

Ill be looking online, but i like that mounting bracket used in the picture in my original post

Default gauss boys don't have them in stock right now...

...but the guy I spoke with at gauss says the correct sizes are the D2503 and the D2506. Will it be apparent which goes with the plate valence and which goes with the OEM plate when I have all the parts at hand?

Default Knocking it off?

Since my license frame gets bent by people backing into it I wonder about this setup falling off the car under the same circumstances.
