Default module identification?

I want to find out if anyone know what module is located behind the center trim panel (behind the center rear speaker, in between the seats) on an 01 tt quattro roadster. its a small black module with 20 pins that has a single red connector going to it. sorry no part # or pic yet. I found it while trying to get to the central locking module. its got 2 10mm nuts holding it down.
thanks

Default i dont think so.

I'll post the part number tomorrow but i dont think that pic is it. but anyway it got corrosion in it and took down the K-wire. I couldnt get into anything. i had a red light on the vag-com conector instead of green. after tracking it all down when I unplugged that module everything was cool. Although I still couldnt get into the central locking module cause the circuit board was also corroded/fried. I know alot of people had problems with the central locking module getting wet and failing but hadnt heard anything bout the other module that went down. but maybe some other people had this issue also. i didnt see any water anywhere else and the harnesses didnt look wet. any idea how water gets in there?
