Need advice

i'm an ex-96 s4 owner and looking to buy a tt 00-02 under 50,000 with 225 hp and need your help.
1. What is difference between after market and certified?
2. Are those cars reliable (maintanence)?
3. How is the insurance ?
4. In general what should i look for when buying and in general your expirience?
5. Is the back seat any usefull?

I still have driven this car yet, but going this weekend. Hopefully it will be a beathtaking expirience.

Answer to # 5 backset are useless unless you have kids that can fit in the seats.

Dont have any kids and usually drive alone, only once in while have some company with me. I know it is not comfortable but can someone fit in there if needed.

Well...If you have some that is about 5'9" and weighs about 125..

Then they would fit in the back it would be confortable only for a short trip, I know this becuz I am 5'9" and had to sit in the back before. I've had a couple friends sit side ways while riding in the back. Half of the top I have the seats dropped so its wide open and easy access to the trunk. I have an 01 and the main problems I have had were stock MAF going out, stock clutch slipping, and a transmission rebuild. So far no else has had problems with their stock clutch or transmission. Will you be modding or tracking the car? If so, I would suggest a 180 and do the APR stg 3 or 3+.

I have an '03....but,

but most of the trouble spots on the year you're looking at, hopefully have been addressed by previous owener:
-coil packs
-gauge cluster
-maf, warrantied 'till 75,000, don't know if you need letter from AoA (audi of america) though.
