Default WTF?! It has multiple gears!! That's not the HIP thing to do!! ;-p

Oh, and you seem to have an extra piece behind the front wheel (from the old bottom bracket?).

Does the chain need to be replaced at 60K miles? <g>

Default That makes me very sad :(

I cracked the carbon frame on my Giant a month ago and I still haven't received an answer whether or not Giant will honor the lifetime frame warranty. NO bike for a whole month makes me a very unhappy boy.

end of rant.

Default where did the frame crack?

and what Giant frame was it?

i just got a Giant TCR Advanced Team ISP...hope i don't have to go through something like that. i do have a few bikes, so just in case one bike needs repair...i have another set up similarly...so there's no down time.

Default probably sooner...

but you need to change the entire drive system...since after 10-15K, it becomes a matched set. just changing out the chain is not enough...since the chain becomes mated with the cassette.

but still cheaper than doing a TB repair!

Default Mines just a TCR, the advanced is a much better frame

I doubt you will crack the advanced. I "had" an '04 with 3,300 miles on it. Mine cracked on the non-driveside seat stay about 3-4 inches above the rear drop out. The damage looked like scratches and then I realized it was cracked about 1/3 of the way through the tubing. I have no clue how it happened, I haven't dropped or crashed the bike.

I'm hoping to get one of the 2009 TCR frames, they are all new for '09. I want this one to be full dura ace with a mavic kysrium SL wheelset.

In the meantime my friend loaned me an extra fixed gear to ride. I much prefer having gears!

Default Mtn Audi

This is actually an Audi designed mtn. bike.
The middle triangle houses the abs controller!
I asked the engineer how well it brakes? A: very well.
Abs actually threw the engineer over the bars.
