Odd window behavior
Just got 00 tt and this thread has helped me a ton, but I haven't seen this issue on here yet so im hoping that someone might be able to explain it.
When I bought the tt the owner said that the passenger window was hit and miss for rolling up and down. i could never get it to work so today i took the panel off to have a look and the motor would click so i tapped it a few times with a wrench and it started to work. But here's the strange part, it only rolls down like a half inch every time I push the button. It will go all the way but after like 20 clicks. It will roll its self all the way up with one click tho.
The next weird thing is up is down and down is up with the switch. Knowing motors a little bit I know that if the wires are reversed then it will go the opposite direction but the plugs can only plug in one way and I didnt see any spliced wires or anything.
Suggestions?
