Default Oil Temp sender/plug concern..(ttstuff.com)
I ordered a "gauge set" from TTstuff.com
The oile temp Sender and Plug did not fit my oil pan.. Does anyone know the exact size I need.. The gauges I am using are AutoMeter Competition..

Temperature Sender: 300F/150C M14x1.5 $10.63
Directly replaces the Oil Pan Plug, and is the sensor used for the VDO Oil Temp Gauge!

Default where do i get this from?? and will it work with the Auto Meter gauge??

Default It's a VDO part from egauges.com, but your Autometer gauge should have come with a sender...
You got the sender that needs to go in the oil flow, like at the oil cooler line.

This is why I went with VDO, the Oil Temp sender replaces the Oil Drain plug directly.

I doubt the VDO sender will work with the Autometer Gauge.

Default What "gauge set" did you get? The one's advertised are VDO's.

I spoke to TTstuff and got Auto meter set, they said it would work...

Default They said "what" would work? The VDO sender, or the Autometer kit?
Did you get the 1/8NPT sender with the Autometer gauges?
If so, then this will not screw into the drain plug.
