Order!!

I had Monday off from work and spent the day test driving cars. I had already settled between the BMW Z3 and the TT. The Z3 was truly fun to drive and had terrific handling but the TT blew me away -- it wasn't even a contest. The handling was superb and the interior design was comfortable, convenient and clever. Plus the car is a work of art.

I put my deposit down and ordered a denim blue TT (aviator gray interior) with the performance and comfort packages. Based on reviews, I did not get the Bose sound system but did order a CD changer.

For those interested in dealer practice: the dealer charged list price with neither "market adjustment" surcharges nor discounts. I gave him a $500 deposit.

Alas, I must wait until April for delivery.

I picked up my 225 last Thursday. Due to the fact I have to work for a living, I haven't driven it as much as I would like to.

However, I must say, "You won't regret it."
