I noticed that.....
Sometimes it happens to the best of us. I've spun out so bad a couple of times that I couldn't use the clutch afterwards for a short time because my legs were shaking so bad.

I slapped my helmet on the window frame at BMP-4/5 a couple of weeks ago. ....
Instructor says 'nice recovery' and we motored on toward 6 and the esses. The straight gave me time to recover my composure!

The spin out that had my legs trembling afterward,,,,,,,
was in the mountains of north GA on a twisty road lined with trees and a drop-off to the river below. It looked like no one was on the road but me on a beautiful autumn afternoon. I was driving my special edition (Balocco) Alfa Romeo GTV6 and having a ball when I took a blind curve and all of a sudden there was traffic completely stopped at the end of the curve due to some small critter crossing the road.
Nothing I could do but slam on the brakes and watch the scenery go round and round. I knew that at best I would broadside a tree and at worst I would go over the embankment into the river below. The car stopped, and the engine died, facing oncoming traffic without any other mishap, thank God. My rear end was off the road about an inch from the nearest tree.
When I realized that someone else could come around the same curve and plow into me head on, I tried to restart the car and that's when I noticed how shaky my legs were. I had to wait a few seconds in that perilous position before I could actually move the car. Not a pretty sight.
Needless to say, the rest of the jaunt was driven much more discreetly that day.
