Possible Forge DV problem?....
From a standing start or freeway speeds, when I get around 5000 RPM's, it feels like there is a govenor on it. Say im in 6th gear on the freeway doing 75mph, I down shift to 5th and floor it, the engine feels like it is flat lining at 5000, it feels as though that is all it has, into 6th same thing. 01' 225QC, Forge DV, AMS chipping, K&N, H&R springs 5500 miles and all mods were done with 1000 miles on car. Other than that the car has not had any of the other probs I have read about here on the forum

If DV you would HEAR turbo boost tubulence and probably would feel effects in lower rpms also...
and sounds a little too specific of rpm the problem comes on consistently...DV is strictly a mechanical device. I would look at two possible culprits...ECU and related knock sensors and turbo wastegate (you would hear that also). Do you have access to VAG tool...look for any fault codes.

Sounds like the same problem I just mailed Stratmosphere about that started after I installed a Forge. Never had symptoms before and it doesn't happen consistantly. I'm installing the Bosch DV tomorrow to test.
