after all, sometimes the FM is wrong anyway... :-)
only sure way to know is try and and see if it works. I think the delay is about 60 seconds or so. I know on my TTR, if I stand near the car, I can hear the lock re-engage itself after the time limit is up (usually while I am juggling 1,000 things in my arms trying to find a free finger to lift the lid...).
