Problem with Power Window on driver's side..
The manual explains how to resume the automatic "one-touch up/down" feature, and the procedure worked successfully for both windows - until today.
For some reason, the driver's side window rolled down a couple of inches by itself while I was rolling it up, as though it had cought something in the middle. Since then, I cannot get it to automatically close it or open it with the one-touch operation!!
I've tried the procedure listed in the manual many times, to no avail. I've done with and without the passenger window, but for some reason it won't take.
Any clues??
Thanks,
Marc
It does it every now and then but not very often. It's not something I'd take to the dealer as they'd probably brake more stuff trying to fix (replicate) it
Just turn her off and then wait 3-4mins. Turn ignition on again and re-set windows.

Does "re-set" mean try the procedure again (lift window, release button, lift window again for 1 second)?
I hadn't noticed before, but the driver's window wasn't dropping either after opening the door. Now it drops again =)
BTW what have you decided on the alumin(i)um paddles? are you going to brake down and give the TT to Sheryl, and get an R32 for yourself??

It depends on Sheryl and what she wants to do, I think I'm going to be happy either way. As for the paddles, have we located a reg (cheaper) source?
Bringing Audi to Life for Audi Fans
1. Payment: his dealership does not take US credit cards, something to do with the fact that they need cards with the "smart chip" (which they've had for years in Europe), so you have to find a way to pay Philippe with a wire transfer or other. I'm having my friend from Paris send him a personal check, but it's from a French bank acct.. a wire transfer will cost you at least $20.
2. Shipment: this would be less of a problem, but still a fairly costly one.. to ship within France was only 7 euros (~$10) in my case, but to the US might be a lot more.
SO it looks the total cost would be over $150, since for me it was 97 euros (cost of the paddles) plus 7 shipping, which would be around $135 total.
Of course, that's still better than something insane such as $500..
