Problems with Miltek exhaust
Anyone have problems with Miltek exhaust resonating against either the heat shield or the structural bar near the hanger? Despite repeated manipulations, the exhaust is still resonating probably against the bar (where the OEM exhaust is very restricted).

I too had the same problem. I tried rotating the mid-pipe as one of the member suggested, but with no avail. Left me no choice but to pound away at the heat shield. Good thing that the heat shield is made of thin aluminium, which bends easily.
Even though the rubbing problem is gone, I still have a strange grinding sound from the exhaust in 6th gear between 3200-4000 rpm. It is more noticeable with the foot off gas.
This whole experience was not what I had expected, given all the positive feedback from the forum. Either I have a bad muffler or my ear is playing trick on me.
The person installed my system was a professional who had installed one on another TT a week earlier. He said the previous install went well without any of the problem experienced on my car. But he did notice that the mid pipe from other Miltek had more bend than my.
