Is this so we can pretend we're in the Batmobile or something?

Default Right. Relatively simple connection. Once ignition is turned to on...

the starter circuit is independant.
Key switch is just a momentary switch.

A relay to engage a relay is what is needed between the push button and the stater circuit.

Default i had a start button on my corrado...

i put it there when the key switch broke, and it seemed easier to wire up a button with a hot lead to the starter and to the battery. it was kinda neat, but i don't know if i'd do it on a car with a working key switch...

you just doin' it for kicks?
