Question about Boost Machine

Called me a Newbie, call me what you will, but I've never heard of this Boost Machine. I have one question, can it be used with factory programming, or should it be reserved for chipped ECUs?

Can it? Yes. Should it, not really. Boost gauge is a necessity. Check the link in my sig.

What are the issues with running the boost machine with stock programming?

Only issue is setting, which is why you need a boost gauge...

so you don't set it too high and end up in limp mode. But it REALLY makes the car nicer to drive. I've done everything BUT chip, so far, and I really like the mod. Lets the motor hold boost until you back off the throttle, I have boost in 1st and 2nd gear now, where I didn't have any before, got rid of the surging where engine would come on boost, then fall right back off while accelerating...
No negatives to this mod, from my perspective.
