Radio Code procedure ?

Is the following procedure correct for the standard TT radio....
Currently the radio display's "SAFE"..
Press the FM 1/2 & the DX button together for 3 seconds.
1000 is displayed. Press the necessary 1-4 keys to select the code.
Press the FM 1/2 & the DX button together for 3 seconds again...

can someone confirm this !! Thanks, Robert.
