damn! my roommate's dad decided to do me a favor and clean the snow off my car this morning - i told him "no, thanks, I'll do it" - and he was like "ahh, ok, ha haha". Of course I come out and it's been brushed off...
later at the gas station I notice all these light little scratch marks all over the hood and trunk - so I check the brush he used, yeah, it has the consistency of steel wool.
WTF?! AAAGGHHH! And he's this nice little old Asian man that hardly speaks English and just smiles a lot - ****! I can't yell at him or anything and it's too freakin' cold for me to run out with swirl remover!

Ugh, that sucks man. I use a silicone blade to get the snow off my car, but yeah it won't stop other
people from using a brush, obviously. Luckily, others know not to touch my car. :-)
Though, that didn't stop me from having a temporary lapse of judgement in using the brush at a self car wash one day. Oh man, that was a bad one, but after some work the scratches came out.
